Who We Are
Women in Public Affairs (WIPA) is a graduate and undergraduate student organization dedicated to the professional and personal development of women in public affairs. Through professional development programming, networking opportunities, and social events, WIPA serves as a support network, empowering women to successfully position themselves in a competitive field. WIPA also serves as a forum for graduate students to address issues specific to women pursuing or advancing careers in public affairs.
What We Do
Professional Development Programming
Through workshops, guest speakers, and discussion panels, WIPA will help its members develop the skills and knowledge needed to prepare for and advance their careers in public affairs.
Networking Opportunities
Through networking happy hours, power lunches and forums, members will have the opportunity to connect with their peers in public affairs and develop the professional relationships needed to further their career goals.
Social Events
Members will have the opportunity to meet fellow WIPA members and develop strong personal relationships through a variety of social events, fostering a greater sense of community among WIPA members.
